Computer Science Student

I'm a Computer Science student in Galicia, Spain, drawn to networks and the infrastructure that keeps everything talking to each other. Most of what I've learned came from breaking things myself: containerising and deploying this site, writing its API, and building autonomous driving software for a Formula Student team. Away from the terminal I shoot photography and can't stay away from music and architecture.

Projects

UVigo Motorsport

UVigo Motorsport is a Formula Student team based at the University of Vigo. I have been a part of the Driverless team for a year and a half, where I contributed to the development of an Autonomous System for competing in Formula Student events. This experience gave me valuable insight into the world of software development. During my time with UVigo Motorsport, I had my first hands-on experience with Python, working with the Robot Operating System (ROS) to build real-world applications.

This Website

I created this website as a way to keep my portfolio accessible at all times. Over time, I decided to expand it, integrating new projects and technologies I wanted to learn.

I started by focusing on deployment with Next.js and Docker. Once I had a solid base, I added an API with FastAPI to explore new functionality, and later worked on data visualization for the Ambient Monitoring project using D3.js.

I've been passionate about photography for a long time, so I decided to add a gallery to the site. While managing it, I realized accessing the backend through developer tools wasn't practical, so I built a dashboard to manage the images and their metadata, along with its own authentication system.
